expectations & happiness
seb is DISTRAUGHT over this whole sailing experience bc he had super high expectations for it but i'm straight chillin'
i am having a great day
we went to the grocery store and i went by bicycle (a rented one with a basket) and it felt so idyllic. i got a little plaid (cozy vibes) blanket for the couch and three teas and a LITTLE TEA MUG that says "BISTROT Thè et Tisane" --> they misspelled "thé" but that's ok (the downward pointing accent is the italian way)
and it's orange and SUPER CUTE and i was so stoked to get home to the boat. i am already drinking a tea. it doesn't have the cute little messages that i've been loving but still
anyway
why am i having such a great time? (1) leisure time (2) i never had expectations, i just wanted to see what it was like
i noticed that whereas i don't have expectations for situations, sebastian has no expectations for people which is why he can be so happy with people and i am so happy with situations.
you know, the more i learn to rely on myself for all of my emotional needs, the less i will expect of people, and the happier i will be.
