i've got a crush on them both.
but not in a romantic way.
i'm crushing on them BOTH in a girlcrush way. i like their fucking way.
the guy: he's almost a caricature of a person. he's always talking about thai boxing and the respectful nature of the thai way. and it seems like he's had a tough time growing up. he likes to tell us how to live our lives but he's so filled with self-assurance that it makes me feel relieved to have someone tell me what to do. he convinced me that i am ready for motherhood. you can tell he's doing his best to reassure himself, to give to himself what he never got.
the girl: beautiful in an understated way. she could easily be that indie grunge dreamgirlfriend that i invented for myself but she's more like scandinavian posh. (what is scandinavian posh? it's that crisp perfect white that they can uniquely rock. what kind of laundry secrets* do they have? they stay crispy white, but with the illusion of being painted in loose brushstrokes and without effort) she's an introvert and she's very kind and she is agreeable and she is mysterious and quiet. a good listener.
